Michelle holds an MPhil in Textile Conservation from the University of Glasgow Centre for Textile Conservation and Technical Art History. She has worked as a Conservation Assistant at Windsor Conservation (Dover, USA) and was the 2017-2018 postgraduate intern in textiles at the Canadian Conservation Institute (Ottawa, CA). She has been a textile conservator at the National Gallery of Australia (Canberra, AU) since 2019. Her professional interests include analysis and preservation of modern materials used in fashion and wet cleaning additives. Her personal interests include knitting, sewing, gardening, and Pilates.
